The Trinity River is located an hour west of Redding in Northern California. It's the longest tributary of the Klamath River and one of California's premier steelhead rivers with strong runs of wild and hatchery fish. There is also a shot at catching sea run browns. A good number of fish start showing in November and the fishing usually remains solid through February to early March.
